Two cells can be matched if they are equal in value (e.g., 5 & 5) or if they sum to 10 (e.g., 3 & 7, 1 & 9). They must also be adjacent — meaning all cells between them (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) must already be cleared.

Classic — A fixed 27-cell grid. Clear every number to win.

Daily Challenge — A new seed-generated puzzle every day. Everyone plays the same board. One attempt per day.

Endless — New rows appear automatically when fewer than 18 cells remain. The goal is to keep your combo alive as long as possible.

Hints highlight a valid matching pair on the board. You start with 3 free hints per session. Once those are used, you can watch a short rewarded ad to unlock 3 additional hints.

Yes! Tap the Undo button in the toolbar at any time to revert your last match. The game keeps a full history of your moves, so you can undo multiple steps.

Your score for each match is: (value1 + value2) × combo multiplier × 10.

The combo multiplier increases by 1 with each consecutive match and resets when you miss a match or make an invalid selection. Keep your combo going for big points!

Yes. Your game progress and high scores are automatically saved using an anonymous identifier — no account or sign-in required. Your scores are also synced to the cloud so they persist across reinstalls, as long as you use the same device.

Sum & Match is free and supported by ads. You can manage personalized ad tracking at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device. Opting out will show non-personalized ads instead.

The Daily Challenge resets at midnight in your local time zone. Each day generates a unique puzzle based on the date — everyone around the world plays a different board depending on their local date.

Tap the Add Lines button in the toolbar. This duplicates all remaining cell values as new rows at the bottom of the board, giving you fresh connections to work with. Use it strategically — new rows mean new matching opportunities!
